Sultana Farfel Kugel

  • 500g farfel
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 70g sultanas
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 60g butter
  • Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas mark 4. Grease an 20cm baking dish.
  • Soak farfel in water 10 minutes. Drain.
  • Add beaten eggs into the bowl of farfel, and let stand 10 minutes. Stir in sultanas, salt, sugar, cinnamon and butter. Transfer mixture to prepared dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
