Sweet 'n' tangy ham

  • 1 (3.6kg) ready-cooked, bone-in cured ham
  • 350g ketchup or as needed
  • 220g dark brown soft sugar
  • Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  • Place ham in a baking dish or roasting tin with the flattest side down. Cover with ketchup then use your hands to pack dark brown soft sugar into the ketchup. Cover the ham loosely with foil.
  • Bake in preheated oven until heated through and sugar has caramelised, about 1 hour.
